Parlez-vous français ?

google.com

Which means, do you speak French?

Just so you know, I learned the language, not once, but twice! Once I did whilst waiting for SPM results at The Language House in Section 17 and the second time was during the first year of uni itself.

Since I was pretty much "familiarized" with the language before I learned at my uni, the second time was effortless. It was like doing ABCs in kindie for me (flips hair haha) I never failed for once, scored all the time, in fact I never sat for more 45 minutes to complete the exam papers. Mind you, we are entitled for (almost) 3 hours. And when results came out, it was always A+ and that really helped me in getting good GPAs each semester.

But ever since I stopped learning and speaking, the proficiency just went kaput. My French is now rusty, in the sense that I am incapable of formulating sentences and trying to speak them at one time. Though I am still able to read the language, my spoken French is a gone case. Plain awful!

These foreign language teachers will always tell you that you are to practice speaking to others who know the language in order for you to be skillful and proficient in it too.

Oh maynn, guess I gotta brush up on the language and start speaking again. But who to speak to?! I have to live in Paris for 3 months lah like this.

Maju Penuntut Sri Aman.

Sorry I haven't been updating. Work's just crazy crazy. I have so many things to tell but work's work. That's my priority. Anyways, I took a wee time off to share with you on this. Just six words: SUMPAH BANGGA & HAPPY GILA FOR SRI AMAN! Congrats School! You deserve it! You make us ALL proud.

It's Papa's birthday. He would be 56 years old if he was alive today. Semoga Allah mencucuri rahmat, meluaskan tanah kubur, menjauhkan seksa azab kubur, meletakkan beliau dalam golongan-golongan orang yang beriman dan meletakkan beliau di kalangan ahli Jannah. I've been missing you for 11 years now, Pa. Al-Fatihah ♥

LLB 2B Rocks My Socks Off!

Just recently, LLB 2B rocked big time! We had our class party - first ever (I know, lembab compared to other classes but by far, the best so far :p) hehe! It was so much fun! The party was to actually celebrate our dearest classmates' beeeeelllaaateeed and overdued birthdays (from January til August 15th). We had Satay Kajang, beehun goreng, fried chicken, snacks, chocolate cake with ice cream, chocolate cupcakes, and so much more. We watched movie - Forgetting Sarah Marshall (utilizing our projectors and big screen to the fullest extent hehe), we played charades and also direct-a-draw. We were making SO much noise on that day, screaming and laughing guessing to the charades played by each classmates. Macam orang gila lah semua orang on that day. We know who acts well now. Hehe! Oh just so you know, one of my (unlucky) pick was "The Exorcist!" Imagineeee. I had to lie down on the floor, pretended to kena rasuk. Sumpah funny. Tapi susah kottt. Hehe. We lost that game by one point to Azureen & Associates. But Norzaliza & Partners were the champions of the day! :) Overall, my classmates and I had a friggin blasting time! We're definitely making the most of our time now as we only have about 10 weeks together before we leave UiTM. Sob sob! Next occasion: karaoke baby!

These are students of LLB 2B who knows how to have a great time and perform well in their studies at the same time (cheyyyhhh) hehe!

Norzaliza & Partners - winning their game!
Azureen & Associates reminiscing Azureen yang tidak hadir! Hehe!
Isco doing their thang!
Z&P having a great time!
Us doing my request for WoW! Hehe!
Togetherness thru it all :)
Best kan? Teehee!

I Made It!

After a four and half years reading them multi-sized thick textbooks, flipping the ever so multi-colourful statutes, stashing my coins and notes away to the photostating machines for copies of cases, the mata terbeliak mahal gila printing!, being amused by the exclusive handed down notes, the inability to comprehend the most complicated, non-comprendo subject like Jurisprudence, hence the cold sweats, the panic attacks, the freak outs, the tangisan-tangisan stress, hehe, I made it! Thanks to Allah SWT. I graduated with a Bachelor in Legal Studies, Honours (BLS Hons)! :)

I recently had my graduation day. It was the Istiadat Konvokesyen Universiti Teknologi MARA ke-68 and it was a BLAST! I had wonderful time being with friends and family around, sharing my joy and excitement being that it was THE most anticipated day of my life after being in UiTM for the years I've mentioned earlier.

Dearest family came. Cinta was there, obviously :) Wonderful BFFs were around (including those not present, I have you girlies right here in my heart). Classmates, lecturers. Just a single person missing. My Pa. I'm not going to wish you were around because I know you were. I know you're shining down on me, ever so proud. My reason for living, I miss you dearly.

Nevertheless, congratulations Class of 2007! One more semester to go for Hons now. Yay!

Scary Not So Small Thing.

What's the thing a student is most afraid of?

Lecturers? Rumours? Popularity? Minority?

Bullshhh. In my case, none of the above BUT failing exams.

Syukur Alhamdullillah. I passed all my Hons 1 exams. I did better than I expected! You don't know how panic-stricken I can be when it comes to exams and especially exam results!

I was in Sydney for a holiday when my favourite friend Shanee texted me, 'Za, results dah keluar!'. My heart just dropped lah! Rasa macam nak pengsan! Lol! I was shivering. I don't know whether it was due to the wet weather in Sydney or I was freaking out! I then asked Irman dearie to check it out for me. Alhamdullillah, I passed! I was afraid I didn't make it for Remedies! But I got a big and bold B! Hehehe! Yay!

I'm glad that the results were brill. Thanks to those who have contributed and most importantly, Allah SWT :)

Oh btw, congratulations to my batch. Heard that majority of us managed to pull 3pointers! Not bad ay! Hehe! Kudos!

Exam no more.

Yay! Exam's over. But in truth, I'm not really excited at all. The last paper I sat for didn't end the way I wanted it to be - i.e. triumphly. I didn't have enough time to answer, hence one big question left unattended. Sedih! Anyhoo, I've tried my best. What's done is done. Now pray and bertawakal. Amin.

Technically I should be on holidays now but unfortunately not. Tomorrow (today actually) I'll be heading off to Kulim, Kedah for a camp. Team building camp which is organized by my own batch for a 3 days 2 nights out in the woods. Waterfall! Yay! It has been a gazillion years since I last saw one. Will make the most of my time there!

Another reason not to be on holidays yet is that I'll be busy with a mock trial on the 19th. Until and unless that date arrives, I won't consider myself on a break. Sigh. Oh remind me to tell you a thing or two about my upcoming mock trial. Hehe!

Pray for my safe journey!

Too long?

Guess so. I have been really busy!

I sorta made a promise to myself that once I start this new blog, I'll try to update as much as I can. But unfortunately, time is certainly not my best friend. I'm currently in the midst of my final exam. Am left with one last (darn) paper (out of four) tomorrow at 215pm. I'm actually excited that it's THE end of the exam but at the same time, I'm scared as hell! Tomorrow's paper consist of 3 subjects in one (I feel you Sha! LOL!) and it contains calculations! Dang! Wish me luck and pray for my success! I'll be writing even more soon - holiday's just around the corner :)

Hallelujah!

Haha! It's 5ish and I'm at home! Civil Procedure today got cancelled, which means more time to relax and an extra time to study for the Law of Evidence's Quiz held tomorrow, yes tomorrow, on a public holiday. Ahh well, it doesn't matter. As long we get it over and done with, we're okay, even if it means that we have to attend on holidays. Wait a sec, holiday? What?

:p Just so you know, I am currently pursuing my (in simple terms) 2nd degree - LLB Hons. I have just graduated from Bachelor in Legal Studies (BLS) Hons - a three year programme, to specifically study Substantive law. (Substantive law is law that governs the rights and obligations of all persons, living or otherwise.) Alhamdullilah, I got myself a degree dgn result yang seronok :) (If not I wouldn't have been where I am today). So yeah, LLB Hons is where I am currently. It's NOTHING like BLS, mind you juniors. No holidays (sometimes, maybe most of the times), not much time to waste, less sleeping hours daily, climbing 82 (or 84?) steps every now and then and the list goes on. However, if you try to look at it constructively, okay la jugak Hons ni. It's interesting and I'm enjoying it (although from time to time, I complain and whine jugak la. Sian Yayang!) Hehe.

Oh, I forgot to mention that LLB Hons UiTM programme is the part where you 'learn by doing'. We learn the procedural laws of each substantive law that you have studied (and supposed to be mastered - but mine karat already :p) in the previous degree. Hence, the many many subjects - 9 + 2 perhaps? Sigh. It's all about the 'hands on' learning by placing each student to be in a firm of 5-6, yes 'firm' because we are treated like lawyers - to run our own law firm and I am least shy to say that our very own law firm is known as 'Zaznuriah & Partners'. In short, Z&P y'all! Haha.

Okay better go now. Enough for today, I shall golek golek now. Hehe! Oh oh, here are some sneek peek!
