For The Love of Bags.

Truthfully speaking, I’ve always preferred to purchase bags more than shoes. Okay that’s faint lie. I like buying almost everything nowadays, if only money would fall from the sky!

During my school/uni days, I would buy a lot of handbags of all kinds. I used to have about 40 plus of bags in my collection till last year, I realized that this “habit” was making me much of a hoarder that I was not proud of. If space would permit me, I would organize my bags nicely but since I am currently living at my parent’s, I do not have much space to do so. 

Anyways, I bought my first designer handbag with my own money, last year. It was a Louis Vuitton Neverfull Damier MM. Trust me, that bag has a special bond with me. I know most men can’t comprehend the relationship between a woman and (designer) handbags but I can’t disagree with them because to their eyes, it’s just a handbag, for gods sake. Lol. 

But men, you are wrong. Having a designer handbag, what more purchasing with our own money, gives us a sense of accomplishment to ourselves. I don’t know about others, but in my case it doesn’t come close to “showing off” or the likes, it’s just as simple as rewarding myself for something I have worked so hard for. In fact, having a designer handbag is a form of investment! It has a second hand value, if you men would like to know. Haha!

And ever since I bought that Neverfull handbag, I’ve developed a new (ill) desire of wanting to purchase more – certainly with my own money, somehow, someday. I know I have to be realistic that I can’t afford to buy a freaking Chanel just as yet but with years of savings and a little perseverance, I know this is achievable.

Now I shower you with some of the handbags I would love to have for myself, someday, Insya Allah. Let this be a reminder for myself that it is achievable, if we first, save! Haha.

I'm turning 25 in 5 days, insya Allah. Just like last year, I had a long list of things that I wished for.

This year, well, let's see.. hmm..

1. A birthday party with a candy buffet, party hats, straws and so much more!

2. Praline Longchamp Le Pliage.

3. An iPhone. Thank you Sayang ♥♥

4. A netbook.

5. These particular IKEA shelf and chest drawer for the room.

6. A set of make up brushes.

7. Birthday presents - in (any) kind or cash lol

8. 88 Eyeshadow Make Up Palette by Angelina Joyce Shop.

9. Tiffany blue / lime green Converse size 7 please :)

10. Last but never the least, your humble wishes and kind prayers. Thanks yalls :)))

I'm gaming for number 1 and 10 the most, which I think numbers 2 - 9 are possible if they attend to number 1, don't you think? Just kiddin. Hehe.

Above all, I pray for good health and wealth, longevity and a prosperous life. I'm also hoping to celebrate it wonderfully first time as a wife, amongst my husband, family and dearest friends. Insya Allah.

Hello, September.

Dear September,

How are you? It's been a year since we last met. This year I'll be turning 24 in 4 days time. How time flies isn't it? You know, you have always been the favourite month of the year. Not only because it's my birth month but there's something about September. It's lovely. The weather has been pretty. I like pretty things. The people born on this month are also pretty (haha) and smart although they are said to be perfectionists. Sometimes I think, am I really a perfectionist? I don't think that I am not but I don't think that I am a true hundred percent perfectionist. I just like things to be organized and look neat. When things are in clutter, I have to de-clutter the mess. When I'm at work, I organize my work according to the priorities first and move along in accordance to that. Even when I'm at home, I clean my room according to sections; left, right, middle, back and so on and so forth. I guess I am systematic and I think I'm proud of that. Apart from that, more often than not, I do drive my boyfriend especially, mad crazy because I can be very, very indecisive. It's just my trait, you know? I've been trying hard to change that trait but it seems that it hasn't been productive. I guess I have to try again and again. Okay enough yakking.

This year I don't intend to celebrate my birthday extravagantly. I'm broke, September (remember - Jakarta? Yes. Broke because of Jakarta haha) I think this year has pretty much a lot on my plate that my birthday has just got to be of low key. But, every birthday girl can have little wishes right? So dear September, here is my list of wishes for my birthday this year.

1. Insya Allah, umur panjang, sihat selalu, murah rezeki amin.
2. Eat ikan bakar at Melaka - Trust me, I think I ate for three person!
3. Take a stroll at Jonker Walk, Melaka - Jonker Street was the bumbbbbbb! Thank you Sayy!
4. Minimo Digital Lomo Camera - Hash is THE boyfriend. Ever.
5. Loadsa cash! (In dire need maynn)
6. Blueberry cheese cupcakes from Wondermilk - Hash lagi :)
7. Olympus Pen E1 DSLR :) Got a Panasonic Lumix GF1 instead :)))))
8. Dinner at Assam Thai, Shah Alam - Thanks to the family my tummy's gonna burst soon!

10. Manicure and pedicure

Is that too much to ask? Well, I've been taught to 'Shoot for the moon, even if you miss, you'll land among the stars' so I guess it's alright for me to ask for more but only gained a little right?
