Alhamdulillah, Khaisah had her 1st birthday party on the 7th July at the garden/playground at my mom's housing area. It was a yellow and pink duck affair - yellow being her favourite colour and pink, something to represent the girly side of her and duck being her favourite animal/toy/thing. How did I come about to this conclusion? Well, simply because, number one, I'm her mom so I should know her best and two, yellow things seem to appeal to her - like the Sesame Street's Big Bird or yellow flowers and yellow ducks. Res ipsa loquitur peeps. Hehe.
Thanks to my mom for sponsoring the canopies, tables and chairs, thanks to my sister for the balloons and the M&M chocolate cake, thanks to MIL for the macaroni, meehoon and cream puffs, thanks to my best friends - Didi for helping me out with the decorations, Mel and Haikal for getting the balloons as well as helping me assemble the party packs and Acad and Nurul for helping us getting the party sorted and started and thanks family in laws for helping us clean up :) We truly appreciate your help! BIG HUG. Most of all, thanks to my awesome husband who is an amazing daddy to Khaisah for everything. You know we both love you loads <3
And thanks to all who came and showering my lil girl with tonnes and tonnes of pressies! To those who gave her clothes and accessories, thanks for saving mummy and daddy's pocket from buying baju raya, lol :) and the others - toys, masya Allah, this girl is SO blessed! We apologize for any shortcomings but really, thank you very much from the bottom of our hearts.
