Yes, one more month baby.
How am I feeling? Excited but nervous as (insert here).
One month means technically 31 days. One month can also mean four more weeks. And you know how weeks pass us by.
Been counting months and now days and God knows much has happened. Good and bad, alhamdullilah, I've been steering well, I hope.
Truthfully speaking, what should I update on? Hantaran? Gubahan? Make up artist? These have been overly repeated in the previous posts and months and I guess repeating it again would be a bore (if not to you, to me) so I intend to just tell you bits and pieces, instead on the overall checklist.
Well..what's left undone on my part? Guest of Honour's gifts, Music or Song Selections, Bunga manggar(s), and Basket for flower girl. I think. The rest, all in the execution stage (except start to clean the entire household) with much help and enduring support from friends and family. I hope everything will be as planned, Insya Allah *prays hard*
Oh I went for my fitting for all four attires already and I must say that I love love love my akad attire the most! :))) It feels so surreal to be wearing it and there were times that I resisted to take it off! Each different attire gives a different effect to it. Akad - all sweet, demure and elegant. House reception's attire is a bit English and vintage - a combo of my design which I re-designed from my mom's dress back in the 80s. The one for hall reception gives a rich, sophisticated and classic effect, perhaps due to the colour of the attire and the one to be worn at bertandang is nothing but absolute grandeur. Please girls, not that I'm boasting, I'm just describing the feeling I felt whilst trying on it :) I can't wait to wear my baju nikah! *smiling profusely* Alhamdullilah syukur everything turned out well. Allah has been good to me because I know I have been tested a lot off late. Hehe.
Okay I think I'm going in circles now. Better go before I start blabbing like a bimbs. Take care and til next b2b update - not on the checklist but whatever I feel like writing prior to the wedding.
